Our Founder: Shadia Marhaban

Shadia Marhaban is a dedicated international mediator, peacebuilder, and advocate for economic empowerment, bringing her expertise in conflict resolution to various regions worldwide. As the Regional Consultant for Southeast Asia at Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI), she works to strengthen local capacities for peace, promote mediation, and facilitate global conflict transformation. Beyond her work in mediation, Shadia is passionate about showcasing Aceh’s rich heritage through its coffee. Recognizing the global demand for high-quality Gayo Coffee, she founded PT Bugong Jeumpa Iskandariah with a vision to export Aceh’s coffee directly to international markets, ensuring that its identity and excellence are preserved.

Her work reflects a deep commitment to both peach and progress, using coffee as a bridge to connect cultures, support livelihoods, and elevate Aceh’s reputation worldwide. Through Jumpa Coffee, Shadia Marhaban continues to advocate for sustainable development, community-driven growth, and the global recognition of Aceh’s coffee legacy.
